COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
THE IMPORTANCE OF DEFROSTING YOUR BOLINA PIZZA
If you put a frozen pizza into a hot oven, you create steam from the frozen condensation releasing into the air instead of baking the pizza. This makes it really difficult to get an evenly cooked, crispy crust.
THE IMPORTANCE OF OVEN TEMPERATURE
Bolina Pizzas cook at a high temperature. If you cook your pizza for the recommended period of time and it hasn’t turned a crispy brown, try moving your oven rack a little lower and cook another 1 – 2 minutes. Our instructions are for ovens that run consistently at 475 degrees. Our own oven doesn’t even do this and we have to cook our pizzas for 1.5 to 3 minutes longer than the instructions.
EXTRA CRISPY CRUST?
The lower your pizza is placed in your oven, the crispier the crust. Your over all cook time will decrease also. Keep an eye on the crust so it doesn’t burn. It’s a fine line between ‘extra crispy’ and ‘charred beyond edible’.
YOU’RE HUNGRY NOW...
- Turn your oven on to 475 degrees.
- Take your pizza out of the bag and microwave to on high for 1 minute.
- Wait until your oven has completely heated to 475 degrees.
- Cook according to the instructions. Eat happy!
SPECIFIC COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
ROMESCO
Step 1 Position rack in center of oven, set temperature to 475°F.
Step 2 Remove pizza from plastic bag and defrost for 15 minutes.
Step 3 Cook for 6-8 minutes on oven rack.
Step 4 Cut into triangles, devour.
RATATOUILLE
Step 1 Position rack in center of oven, set temperature to 475°F.
Step 2 Remove pizza from plastic bag and defrost for 15 minutes.
Step 3 Cook for 10-12 minutes on oven rack.
Step 4 Cut into triangles, devour.
OLIVE ME
Step 1 Position rack in center of oven, set temperature to 475°F.
Step 2 Remove pizza from plastic bag and defrost for 15 minutes.
Step 3 Cook for 7-9 minutes on oven rack.
Step 4 Cut into triangles, devour.
GARLIC CONFIT
Step 1 Position rack in center of oven, set temperature to 475°F.
Step 2 Remove pizza from plastic bag and defrost for 15 minutes.
Step 3 Cook for 8-10 minutes on oven rack.
Step 4 Cut into triangles, devour.
